Do you have a mic? Yes*
Have you ever been banned from the server? If so, why? N/A
Experience with being a gamemaster (Nutscript, SAM, other servers, etc.) N/A
How active will you be on the server? Mostly daily as I currently aim. Obviously I'm not a robot, so I'm not going to be on literally every day, and will occasionally take a 1-2 day break.
Are you capable of turning an unsuitable map into a more suitable map using efficient usage of props? Yes, I believe so.**
How well do you work in fast-paced and stressful situations? Good, but since I am still not a robot, I do get stressed out if too much pressure is suddenly placed on me at once.
As a gamemaster, you must be able to adapt on the spot depending on what the players do during your event. Do you think you can quickly adapt to any situations? Yes. Considering that events shouldn't be completely linear, I will usually try to plan out and consider multiple paths that can be taken in an event in order to continue, and in the absolute worst case scenario where I need a short amount of time to think, I could use shells/artillery to slightly hold back the troops without delaying the event unnecessarily in order to have that few seconds to come up with something. An event shouldn't be planned out as a straight line with no interruptions, so thinking ahead and planning out before you host the event can easily help when something stupid happens.
Are you willing to cooperate with other Gamemasters to create events? Of course. The entire point of being on the Gamemaster TEAM is that I'm a part of the TEAM. A lot of things can be made better easily if multiple people work together to improve it, and events are no different. Coordinating with other GM's could also teach me how to be a better GM by going off their advice/examples and having them help me plan any events that I may think I need help with. Overall, an event will almost always be more fun if multiple GM's are cooperating to make it better.
Are you able to take criticism aimed at you or your events? As long as it tries to be constructive in the slightest. I wont try to actively call out or get pissy with people who just drop a "1/10 be better" or something like that, of course. Instead I'll just be like "ok" and move onto actual constructive criticism. An event isn't going to be good unless I coordinate with the players, too. If I gave the 104th nothing to do in an event for instance and a 104th dropped even something as simple as "hey can we drive a vehicle or something next time" I would try to shape my future events to maybe involve pushing with a vehicle, or having them defuse bombs that could be endangering the objective. Obviously every battalion wants to be included and feel useful during an event, and I'll most definitely try to change and shake up events as needed when given the criticism.
Why do you wanna be a gamemaster? Long story short: For fun. Gamemaster has long been a role I've wished to have, but haven't found really the right server. FBN is a quality server, I like the community, I like the staff, and I see little - if any - issue with the design currently. PassiveRP can be boring sometimes, so throwing more frequent sims/events into the mix can help when the server might be feeling slow, and I really just wanna try out being a GM and experiencing it for the first time.
*While I am known as someone who doesn't speak and only uses the voice chat function for my soundboard, I actually have zero issues with just manning up and actually talking. Especially since I'll need to be able to talk if I ever wanna lead anything anyways, so I have no issues with using my microphone as I understand it is required :D
**I have ~1 year of gameplay on a class on a server where the only way to build is through the ol' traditional physics gun and toolgun. It very much did involve knowing how to quickly use your tools to set up pretty and effective fortifications, and so in this regard I do believe I can tune maps to suit my needs through the use of props. Although this is kinda unrelated to FBN and being a GM, I thought I should bring it up. Likely going to see what spawnlists we have to work with anyways and get familiar with what I can use the different props for.
